Kosta Boda Atoll Collection Description: Kosta Boda Glassware Made in Sweden Designed by Anna Ehrner Colonies of coral grow in rings around islands in the South Pacific, forming reefs and lagoons called atolls. These beautiful encircling structures and the vivid colors of ocean currents and living coral reefs inspired the Atoll collection. Each piece is unique, with its own free-form pattern of hand-applied color. "For me, creativity takes place in the blowing room. This is where glass is conceived, where it is fashioned and comes alive. I want to work with the glass, not against it. In my desings, I try to follow along with the melt - with the sheer power of the glass - and at the same time identify the simple and the subtle.
