This pattern is derived from the Old World style of German landscape painting. Birdsong’s Rococo shapes were created by the Fuerstenberg Porcelain Factory of Germany in 1747, for Duke Carl I of Brunswick, the founder. For this updated version, Mottahedeh followed the duke’s theme of creating country scenes, and used the same factory.
