Freezer, Oven, Microwave & Dishwasher SafeEgo, designed by Stefan Lindfors, incorporates easy-to-hold distinct designs. A range which is suitable for all kinds of coffee and dinner specialities. The specially designed handles help the cups stand firmly on the saucer. Ego's cups, plates, and bowls are slightly better, bigger, and stronger. All the items are oven, microwave and dishwasher proof. Made by iittala's Arabia division.  Stefan Lindfors. Born on Ahvenanmaa, Finland, in 1962. Today, Lindfors is active both as a designer and sculptor and he has many international commissions behind him. His work includes Winged Victory (1996), a sculpture for Swatch’s pavilion during the Olympics in Atlanta, as well as Freedom of Speech, a sculpture exhibition at the Finnish Embassy in Washington D.C. His collaboration with Marimekko has contributed to several new patterns and products.
